Returns & Refunds Policy

This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to purchases made from https://cub3.co.za and is governed by the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.


1. General

Cub3 Technologies (“Cub3”, “we”, “us”) aims to provide quality products and services. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may be entitled to a return, repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

2. Eligibility for Returns

Products may be returned under the following conditions:

  • The product is defective or faulty
  • The incorrect product was supplied
  • The product was damaged during delivery
  • The product does not correspond with the description provided

Returns must be requested within 7 business days of delivery unless otherwise required by law.

3. Change of Mind Returns

Customers may return products due to a change of mind within 7 days of delivery, provided that:

  • The product is unused and in original condition
  • All original packaging, accessories, and documentation are included
  • The product is not damaged or altered

The following items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns:

  • Software, licenses, or digital products that have been activated or downloaded
  • Special-order or customised products
  • Products damaged due to misuse or negligence

4. Defective or Faulty Products

If a product is found to be defective within 6 months of delivery, Cub3 will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product
  • Replace the product
  • Issue a refund

Defective products may be assessed by the manufacturer or supplier before a resolution is provided.

5. Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.

  • Refunds may take 5–10 business days to reflect
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless required by law

Cub3 reserves the right to refuse refunds if products are returned outside of policy conditions.

6. Warranty Claims

Most hardware products are covered by manufacturer warranties. Warranty periods and terms vary by product and supplier.

Cub3 may facilitate warranty claims but is not responsible for manufacturer warranty decisions.

7. Return Process

To initiate a return or refund request:

  1. Contact Cub3 Technologies at support@cub3.co.za
  2. Provide your order number and reason for return
  3. Wait for return authorisation before sending the product

Unauthorised returns may be rejected.

8. Delivery & Courier Costs

Unless otherwise required by the CPA:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns
  • Cub3 will cover reasonable courier costs for incorrect or defective items

9. VOIP, Cloud & Professional Services

Refunds for VOIP, cloud services, and professional services are subject to the specific terms agreed upon in writing.

Setup fees, porting fees, and services already rendered are non-refundable.

10. Governing Law

This Returns & Refunds Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
